The Regional Cal Black Chamber of Commerce is an Action agency designed to meet the needs of a community or a region of communities. It is a voluntary organization of individuals, businesses, and Corporations who band together to advance the commercial, Financial, industrial, and civic interest of the community or Region. It acts as a "Watchdog" for most legislative issues formed and presented to the public for discernment. Moreover, it’s a CIVIC CLEARINGHOUSE …Acting aggressively as an information bureau and a Research and promotion medium. Regional Cal Black Chamber of Commerce SFV (RCBCC) is a strong association of successful business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs. Our mission is assist its 500+ base members of small, minority and women owned businesses in strategically gaining economic empowerment and social equality, through access and visibility, while providing access to capital, power networking and marketing collaboration .
Where We Are
The Regional Cal Black Chamber of Commerce (RCBCC) located in Encino, CA in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, and it encompasses over 35 cities, 5 Empowerment Zones ranging from the Central and West SFV, to East Valley, to Burbank, Glendale, Santa Clarita /Valencia to west side of LA Metro to include parts of Inglewood to Marina Del Rey. RCBCC corporate office based in Encino, California, but we are effective both state and nationwide.
What We Do
The RCBCC annually host the largest business mixer in The Valley, plus four*(4) Professional Business Workshops, VIP Luncheons, and a communitywide Small Business Summit and EXPO, with Special salute to JUNETEENTH, which honors small businesses and Chamber’s United Community Corporate Partners, as professionals of the Year. We have created an educational and political advocacy, together with an International Trade Committee to further extend our outreach. The Regional Cal Black Chamber honored to be recognized by the California State Black Chamber of Commerce, Sacramento, multiple times for Community engagements, which they boast a growing membership of over 35,000, honored and recognized by the mayor’s office Los Angeles, State Board of Equalization, California State Senate, California State Assembly the United States Congress, and other local community organizations.
Value of What We Do
The Regional Cal Black Chamber was founded just 15 short years ago, and to date has become one of the most active and visible vehicles for economic empowerment for its members. When important business related issues are raised or events occur that will contribute to the growth and success of a member, most assuredly, the RCBCC will have a presence, such as, National Supplier and Diversity Conference, Green Lining Institute, United States (SBA) Small Business Administration, Valley Cultural Affairs, Valley of the Stars Events, Greatest Business Mixers, CA. Diversity Conference, State of California Events, California Black Chamber Convention, California Small Business Day, Black Business Association, Los Angeles Business Federation(BizFed), Congressional Black Caucus, Washington, DC, and the United States Chambers of Commerce and other local events.
Quantitative Value of What We Do
The RCBCC is operated under the direction of its President/CEO Mme.MC Townsend, a 10- member panel Advisory Council, two administrative assistants, and a CFO. It being situated in one of the most economically vibrant sections of Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, recognized as the "hub" of hi-tech businesses, we look forward to new and rewarding opportunities to abound us. Our business membership is far greater diverse and complex than most, therefore, every corporation should be doing business with the members of the Regional Cal Black Chamber SFV. Today, we encourage you to come join us and let’s strengthen our economy together by doing business together, with each other, henceforth turning Contacts into Contracts. In just 20+ years we grew from 20 members to over 500+ base members and hundreds, if not thousands of valuable supporters nationwide.
